How seven systems become one view
Every number on this dashboard is a join. Nothing an executive actually asks for lives in a single system, which is why those questions get answered in a spreadsheet a week late, by hand, differently each time. This page shows the joins rather than hiding them.
The shape of it
The problem, stated plainly
A single physical well has a different name in every system that touches it. Telemetry calls it a tag. Production accounting calls it a property. Finance calls it a cost centre. Land calls it an API-14 — and land is right, because the API number is the one issued by the state regulator and the one that never changes.
So the crosswalk resolves everything to API-14. That is unglamorous work and it is the entire product. Once it exists, cost per barrel is a division. Until it exists, cost per barrel is a project.
Two systems deliberately do not reach well level: payroll rolls up by cost centre, and safety events are logged against a pad. Forcing them down to the well would invent precision that is not there, so the dashboard reports them at the grain they honestly have.

Which numbers need which systems
Read down a row. The numbers executives ask for first are exactly the ones that need three or four systems at once — which is precisely why they are the ones that arrive late, or not at all.
